Samuel Benin

Samuel Benin is the Acting Director for Africa in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit. He conducts research on national strategies and public investment for accelerating food systems transformation in Africa and provides analytical support to the African Union’s CAADP Biennial Review.

U.S. farmers still dependent on trade aid after China deal (Reuters)

Reuters published an article on the Trump administration extending the subsidies program for farmers who need assistance as the trade war with China continues. Senior Research Fellow Joseph Glauber criticized the farm subsidies program.
