Tackling the root causes of gender inequality through research (Modern Ghana)

March 06, 2020

Modern Ghana reported on what role research can play in accelerating progress on gender equality. Research, such as Feed the Future, IFPRI, and the OPHI Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) can support the development of metrics to measure change in gender equality and the empowerment of women. WEAI  measures different aspects of empowerment including changes in gendered behaviors and practices, allows for comparative analysis across countries and contexts. Republished in Africa Times
