Devex published an opinion piece by Senior Research Fellow David Spielman on the importance of increasing investment in more diverse, resilient seeds in developing countries, where livelihoods depend heavily on the ability of farmers to produce food on degraded land, without sufficient irrigation, and at the mercy of the most severe climate shocks.
