Samuel Benin

Samuel Benin is the Acting Director for Africa in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit. He conducts research on national strategies and public investment for accelerating food systems transformation in Africa and provides analytical support to the African Union’s CAADP Biennial Review.

IFPRI is participating in the Share Fair, which is a side event to the 8th CGIAR System Council Meeting. The objective of the Share Fair is to demonstrate how CGIAR is working in an integrated manner to tackle local challenges of global importance with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders.

 

With over 35 displays, researchers from 11 CGIAR Research Centers present in Ethiopia will showcase how they work together in partnership with the Ethiopian government and key partners from the private sector, civil society and funders, to transform local food systems.
